Hey folks,
Just a teaser until I actually do some serious shooting - my first fully
technological
mecha (rather than the magitek/steamtech stuff I've been doing with
Cornelius and
the Goblins).
The model makes extensive use of parts from the Technic C3PO, and indeed
was
started when I bought one to get the ball joints and wound up getting
inspired by
the gold-tone pieces inside. It wound up being a bit more expensive
than I thought,
because I turned out to need a second 3PO to finish it...oh well, I had
very few
Technic parts as it was.
I took a few more pictures than this, but as you can see I necglected to
move the
black DVD rack from behind the model, so it's actually fairly difficult
to make
out detail. I'll do a proper shoot sometime next week.

| If I may make a suggestion: Put some detail on the arms so they don't look too straight and square. Nice head and torso, however. :^) ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
