| It won't necessarily fry the chip. L293s (and the TI equivalent) have a thermal protection mode. If the chip gets too hot, it will turn itself off. | it might not be permanently dead, but if it's not, it's not working. one (or more) of the outputs of these two chips is probably shorted to ground or shorted to +5v. the chips get hot when they try to drive this output to a state other than the one (...) | I found an alternative source for tubing and T's at my local R/C hobby shop here in Milwaukee. The silicone fuel hose used for R/C airplanes is the perfect wall thickness and diameter for the pneumatic fittings. The hose is about $.75 a foot and the (...)
