  TRU returning open sets

Can TRU return opened sets to TLG? I tried to haggle for an opened (and obviously used) Lego remote control car at my local TRU. The manager said he could get more than the $20 I offered for the open set knowing that some pieces might be missing. On (...) (26 years ago, 25-Feb-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: anyone know where SW sets may be?

I've seen sets showing up in quantities at Fred Meyer's, Kmart's, and TRU's. And that's from Renton to Burien to Kent and Auburn. I've heard that Wal-marts will be putting ALL sets out on May 3rd or 4th. I think there is going to be so many sets (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.sea)
