Sean ... Probably the best way to maintain a constant heading is to use shaft encoders on both drive wheels ... monitor their rotation ... adjust one motor to give identical turn counts. Dear Victor, I'll give you a few hints about what you are trying to do. 1. the "0x" in front of 0x0e is the same as "$" in regular C. It just designates that the number following is in hex format. 2. Fred, I too was just in Disneyworld and didn't notice any shampoo bottles. While they did have regular kits that you can get through Shop@Home they had the only floor display I have ever seen of trains (tracks and things), Scala, belleville, parts (...) To the wise HB builders, First can I us a poly-styrene cap of the same value instead of the polypro?? Can I use a 3.92 1% in place of the 3.83 1%, what will happen?? please don't send attachments to the mailing list. a 200 K message sent out to 500 people is 100 megs of data. also some people have small mailbox quotas that can be filled up by just one big attachment. i realize 200K isn't huge, but it's still a (...) what i am doing is building a battery charger for back-up batteries to be used with the handyboard, so i don't have to wait for the batteries to charge. can i use the schematic that i found in the handy board technical reference manual except (...) If you connect the batteries in parallel you will increase the current which is something i'm not sure you want to do. if you connect them in series it will increase the voltage which is what i believe you would like to do. the problem comes because (...) the main reason this doesn't work is the 1a supply produces too high a voltage at the actual current being drawn, resulting too high a charge rate. technically, it will work in NORMAL charge mode, but you'll be charging the battery too fast, (...) I have an old 'wall wart' lying around. It has a rating of (12 vdc 1 amp output). i was wondering if i can use it on the handy board. the specs i read about the handy board call for a 12v 500mAmp output. any response would be appreciated.
