| I am going to guess this is a software problem on the PC side. If you can boot your computer in DOS mode, try running IC then. Or find an older box :-(. | after you download the S19 code, does your C program in the HB go away? i.e., whether or not you hold down start, your HB boots up with the IC message on the LCD? | some people use fancy sensor devices, but i have found that a simple CdS photocell or a phototransistor, with some kind of shielding tube to block ambient light, works quite well for seeing the candle flame. check out the pix -- lots of robots have (...) | the only easy way to get a serial input is to take over the console port used by IC. this isn't hard to do, but you lose the ability to interact with the board via IC while your board is running your code which is tlaking to the alternate serial (...) | Lisa you could also use the HEXMON40 program you might already be familiar with from the Mini Board. Basically all you have to do is change the motor out and vector location definitions.
