  Re: sonar

(...) yes. the polaroid board is pretty sophisticated, really, in that it ramps up the input gain the longer it waits for the ultrasonic reflection pulse. this compensates for the exponential falloff in "volume" as sound disperses on the way out and (...)   Re: U14 problem

Firstly, 19.9v is a normal unloaded voltage from a 12v DC adapter. The reason: these common wall adapters are unregulated, and voltage output varies inversely to current. I.e., if there is no load, the voltage is higher than the rated voltage; if (...) (28 years ago, 15-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

You need to get the CONFIG register to be set to 0x0c. If it is set to 0x0d, there will be memory conflicts. See the FAQ for an explanation. Try DL.EXE from the freeware DOS package.   Re: IC memory error

The freeware version of IC runs in a virtual DOS box. Check your configuration settings to make sure you give the maximal amount of conventional (640K) memory to the DOS box. Also, try using the .pif file that is distributed with IC. -Fred In your (...) (28 years ago, 9-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Run Time error 1

Peter: run-time error 1 is "no stack place for start_process()". This is given in the IC/Handy Board manual. The reason is your "repeat" procedure, which keeps making more processes!! Instead of this, put each of your subprocesses in a loop; e.g: (...) (28 years ago, 8-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
