"Michael Edwards" <medwards@ukonline.co.uk> wrote in message news:G5J30u.E7B@lugnet.com... (...) It's nowhere near complete - we still have a lot of Town sets to do, but it's the best you'll find on the web. Huw (24 years ago, 13-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego AT-AT

(...) Well, I've gotta come in and clarify. I don't think it's possible to achieve a walking model made of Lego parts (not counting future miracle parts) that walks as an AT-AT is "supposed" to walk (using all the joints as shown in the movie, not (...)   Re: How do you break down an inserted shortcut?

You can use MPD for that ... an example: 1) You create your main scene without the figures ... 2) You IMPORT the figures now, either sitting, staying however 3) You switch back to the main-scene and include the sub-model (the figure) like any other (...)   Re: Catalog of female minifigs?

There's also "Crystal Aput" in the Arctic Theme's Polar Base (6575), who has a common female head, but a unique torso, and (reputedly) "Haley Comet" in the largest of the SpacePort sets. You can see scans of Crystal Aput and the female Green Ninja (...) (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.technic)

Re: Why does everyone hate Witche's Windship ( Mini-Review of 6037)

(...) Certainly for the size of the set, I think the main model is decent. (...) Yea, I'm not sure how useful the bottom-dome is to me. I'll probably find some use for it, but as one of the major pieces, it sure is a detractor for buying lots of (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.reviews)

Scaling CVEs (was Re: 2879 Bi-planes and dingies)

(...) Dunno, I scale more by eye than calipers. The flight deck is wide enough to get two of the planes (discussed elsewhere) side by side, matching what I see in WWII pics. I'm using all four of the MB carriers to hand for the flightdeck. Working (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

(...) I have to agree that this set was certainly a great set in my opinion. I liked them so much that once KB got them at $4.99 I bought at least a dozen and have no plans to get rid of any of the parts. On of the best "parts" sets in the last five (...)
