  1950's LEGO

I think we really missed out on something wonderful, what with not having had themed LEGO (such as Star Wars) during the 50's. Think of the great stuff Samsonite could have produced: 5472 Leave it to Beaver Playset. 327 pieces. Includes pearl (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Personally, I see little point with the "grunt" minifigs. ;) They generally won't figure prominantly in a story, and in fact, they should probably all be wearing redshirts, considering what will happen to most of them in a lot of our (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

I to would love to see lando make it into lego. I just think something would be missing if he didn't. About lego not doing civil war sets, I would not rule it out. (...) Your thinking along the same lines as me. Brad said LARGE quantities(100-1000) so I imagine we could split them up into lots of what people want, order as a group. Just a thought. -John Rudy Grey Kepi, still not a one, ahhhh! (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(x-posted to .dear-lego) (...) I agree. As Craig said, many people asked for this before. It'd be a HUGE hit IMO. There are endless possibilities: Colisseums, The oracle (Delphi), Chariot races, mythical stuff, a Julius Caeser fig (with wreath and (...) I've just finished reconstructing the first lego set I ever owned (set 6970) in .dat format... however, there are four parts in that set that don't seem to have dat files yet... those being: The crater baseplate (x2) The classic minifig space-helmet (...)
