Auction: 4564 and 4555 Train sets; Update 2

I am changing the rules a little for this auction. Asking for bids in NOK (Norwegian Kroner) was a bad idea. Please place your bids in USD from now on. #1 4564 Freight Express (1994) Open; 100 USD; Larry Pieniazek #2 4555 Container Depot (1995) (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Debris Removal Truck

(...) My wife tells me that I have a sickness. I have the ability to look at everyday objects and build them with LEGOs. I do remember what the driver looked like, but I don't think it would be a very flattering minifig. Also my truck is a lot (...) (25 years ago, 30-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) They are fairly rare--I don't know of any set with more than one of them. They've appeared in Belville sets, and some other sets (can't remember which ones right now) in the past few years. What's more rare are the plain minifig heads in (...) (25 years ago, 30-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) So, if LEGO comes out with a yellow Lando what happens? Does everybody complain, or do they (we) just say "OK, that's the solution then. Everybody's yellow." The above would work for me because LEGO minifigs have always been yellow, nearly (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

That'll be the day, Sanjay. It would be greedy enough to ask for a minifig- scale Millenium Falcon, let alone an AT-AT or a Death Star (please). Even a nanofig-scale Death Star would take up an entire room. (25 years ago, 9-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  X-Wing landing gear that's realistic!

I just came up with an idea after getting the X-wing to make the rear landing gear more realistic. What you need for each side is a minifig ski, a 1x1 round plate, and two 1x1 round bricks.
