(...) here in canada, there is a furniture chain called "the brick". ottawa is a quasi-bilingual city. as you might have guessed, in french, "brique" also means brick. the pun she may also have been referring to was the "herd" of cows - pictures yet (...) a tiny sneak preview of some scenes for parlugment's participation in ottawa railfair (oct 16-17). the orchard house moc is near completion. gardens and grounds are being tended very diligently by the farmhand who couldn't resist temptation and the (...)   Three Trunk Tree and Tall Thin Tree
 
Here's a three-trunk tree that I built for my railway layout: (URL) I used 2L black technic liftarms to attach more flex tubes to the central one. The white blobs underneath are geese! (...) just got back from 10 days vacation (no computer access, no lego) and i've noticed a change with brickshelf also. typically, if i've missed that much time looking at "recent" pages, i just use "next page" to continue back to some familiar (...) (...) thanks! i used mlcad to put one, two or more pieces together, took a jpg photo then went into photo-paint to doctor it up. (...) it's the smaller version of the bell jar but it has no centre stud, therefore when used upside down, has a lovely (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) unfortunately, i'm flying by the seat of my pants here. while i figured out how to go from mlcad drawing to jpg to photo-paint, i haven't figured out the reverse process. now that i've got a new piece, how do i get it back (...)   moc: warehouse loft conversion
 
this urban renewal project sits on the corner of a main road and less well maintained side road (beware of pot holes - even though the road has been patched already). (URL) the owners have very modern tastes which suit loft living. they favour (...) (...) ironically, i didn't study anything but my lego pieces! i haven't yet tried to reproduce a certain style in great detail, i usually just work toward getting a look. an architect or art historian may be able to point out mistakes and anomalies (...)
