| | Re: what makes a legend?
|
| (...) I disagree with these arguments. If a product is good, people will buy it. Keep in mind, also, that Lego Direct does not sell in normal retail channels. They currently only sell via catalog for online or telephone ordering. Your assumptions (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| (...) I'm not a frequent poster to Lugnet, but I read it almost every day. From my perspective, Lego has been doing better stuff than ever, especially in 2003: 1. *Creator, Designer and Inventor sets 2. *Fascinating tubs at great prices 3. *Return (...) |
| I think it's bad idea whose karmic boomerang will come back at TLG in more ways than I think any of us can now predict. 1. Compatibility no longer exists. I hope the Consumers Affairs division is ready to handle the increase in complaints. 2. Any (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

FTR, Brad mentioned (at Brickfest) that Castle sets could not be released as long as Lego has the Harry Potter License, just as Space cannot be released as long as they have the Star Wars License (and yes, that means no Classic or Legends). | Even if mecha use bioncle, that still leaves nearly everyother theme. I have seen parts used in space as well but as far as town, pirate, trains, boats, and especially castle, adn whatever else, they are completely useless. What we need here is not (...) That doesn't seem quite enough to cause the set to be delisted as a potential Legends (...) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)
