Re: A small (and my first) train animation done with MLCad

(...) Dear Jindroush, Jeroen has given a good explanation why the window flickers. I have now exchanged the LGEO code for the part within the pov-file against standard coding without LGEO and that problem is solved. Since radiosity slows down the (...) (18 years ago, 6-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Dear Tim, take this as not more than a first test run.... I did several runs so far in which I was playing around with anti alias (the POV-Ray manual tell NOT to use it, while I found it looked way better with AA-settings). I also tested (...) (18 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains)

A small (and my first) train animation done with MLCad

Hi all, after playing around with nearly all (common) features in POV-Ray - like radiosity, media, fog etc. - I have finally started the latest excurse into working with the clock variable. Here comes my first small animation movie (1.5 MB) of the (...) (18 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

Ciao a tutti, mi sono informato e devo dire con franchezza che la cosa mi era sfuggita (ahi ahi perdo colpi...).   Moonbase

Hi. It's been awhile. From what I've seen, Moonbase is more or less dead, and more or less dead at Lego conventions. I suspect that like a lot of building trends, it may have just run its course...which is fine. But I've always felt bad about (...) (...) So long as there are even a handful of us building Moonbase, it's not dead. Not by a longshot. I always admired your site, Jon. One day I tried to access it and it was not there. I hadn't realized it had been hacked, of course. But oh, was it (...) (15 years ago, 13-Aug-09, to lugnet.space)

BrickFair Announcements - BrickFair Passes An Impressive Milestone

Hey all, Just wanted to toot our own horn, I guess. BrickFair has passed the 600th registrant mark. Frankly, I'm a bit amazed. Even with my participation in BrickFest for all the years it was held in D.C., I never would have anticipated the level of (...) (15 years ago, 7-Aug-09, to lugnet.events.brickfair, FTX)

  refurbishing dead NXT's

We have about 54 NXT sets. Our oldest ones, purchased just as soon as the sets were available, are now 3 years old. After about 100 running hours, they are finally giving up the ghost. Some have bad ports, others have no displays, and two are all (...) (15 years ago, 22-Jul-09, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Exciting news for residents of the midwest United States! I read this in the 4/28/2006 Kansas City Star.
