| | I don't like it!
| I think it's bad idea whose karmic boomerang will come back at TLG in more ways than I think any of us can now predict. 1. Compatibility no longer exists. I hope the Consumers Affairs division is ready to handle the increase in complaints. 2. Any (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

| | Disregard Dead Board
| The problem was isolated to a bad LCD display. This was accomplished by using the pcode file contributed by Kent (which doesn't require the display to be present while the board is on.) Special thanks to Gleason Research for finding/isolating this (...) (27 years ago, 20-Jan-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| Hi everybody, I don't know if anyone still reading this since the last post here was 8 monthes ago, anyway I was yesterday in the chat with Jake Mckee (his nick name is Sink) from LEGO and this is what he said: [architect] ok, Yaron [Webrain] Hi (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.loc.il)

| | Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?
| (...) Hi, I am in the camp that likes the new colors, and I think the new light grey may be better than the old. But then, I have a pretty large collection of the old colors, and for what I do with LEGO, it's all I should need going forward. For me, (...) | | Re: 12V and 9V on same track footprint
| I've also been considering (as I believe many people have), the ways in which 12V and 9V trains might run together. Slotting the 12V conductor rails into 9V track seems the most obvious solution, but there are two major problems; it doesn't work for (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: New German Diesel Locomotive
| (...) Dear James, once again you have amazed me with a briliant LEGO® model after an existing design. I have not been too familiar with this kind of loco (in fact I have never seen a BR 232 in in real life, although I live near a bigger train line). (...) | Brad - Many thanks for what you've achieved with Lego Direct. Shop-At-Home Europe, the My-Own-Train range, Legends, My-Own-Creation. Just getting the company to take these things, and us, seriously. All of these have made a hobby a lot more (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego)

| | 7 wide Passenger Car Roof uses Shovels
| Hi James, I really appreciated to see my hi-res pictures referenced by you. So it was very very useful to upload such big images... The idea to use this as a roof element is congenial. Hope you get enough of them! I'm sure that Ben Beneke will love (...) (22 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)
