For me the most notable reason why our little market isn't perfect is that IMO we are in a constant state of short supply on most elements (because of TLG's unwillingness to offer bulk), not to mention that most sets are not available through Lego (...) i can understand that some of the parts i am constructing are crap. several things: 1. i am lousy at coordinate geometry especially in a 3d plane like ldraw. 2. i have no lego and the only person i know who has lego does not have most of the parts (...) here are the farly recent 8-stud roadplates. i also have unpatterned versions. e-mail me if you want them... i am planing on submitting all of these for voting in 99-03. i will probobly make the corners on the crossroads and t-junction rounded like (...) (...) "Kind of" is a gross understatement. If the parts Steve sent me were done using the torus generator, then he did a *LOT* of very careful post-processing. i have a large quantity of parts that as they stand there are no known problems with. all of them i will be sending to terry. the raised baseplate part is only the tip of the iceberg. i have lots of parts on my site that appear to have no known (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
