  Re: Castle = yes

(...) Although I am sympathetic to the idea of having more generic 'figs in sets, I don't really agree that "we never had enough Black Falcons . . . to man the walls". Looking back, Castle sets over the years have a very high ratio of 'figs and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Posable Horse Reloaded

Okay, I've redesigned my minifig posable horse. The result is now a little more to the same scale as a minifig, and generally it looks better and more horse-like. It still has 11 pivot points. If I could figure out how to make the head move up and (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

VW Beetle set (10187) now with power functions!

Hi, After building the new VW set last Sunday, I brought it to work and while everybody admired it, one person commented that it should be powered and should have functional steering...   Western Cavalry Wanted

Hi Guys, Among all of the recent sales I see that there are packs of Western cavalry guys for $2.00. I am trying to build up a new space military theme and these guys make excellent troops but none of the stores around me have them. So I am (...) (21 years ago, 30-Sep-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Yet another cart

(...) Hi Jojo, Great cart. I especially like the harness for the horse. Much more elegant and realistic than what I've come up with for my posable horse. I shall do some more brainstorming (and perhaps purchasing on BL). Alan (21 years ago, 21-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Yup, the whole neck structure is the Achilles Heel as far as presentation is concerned. I'm going to post some alternates. Alan, My record is less than spotty, as I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but I liked this one a lot so I thought I'd respond. As a fan of lego stop-motion-animation, this is desperately needed.
