Re: Is S@H the best place to get an infusion of Gray Bricks?

Strange - S@H isn't available in the UK, and I thought I'd never find some grey bricks. Then, two days ago I was on a sailing trip and we stopped at Lymington, just south of the New Forest. In a toyshop there I found an old box of Lego with set (...) (24 years ago, 7-May-00, to lugnet.service)

  Clay LEGOs?

I have some old (1930's or 40's?) red fired clay bricks which are the same size and virtually the same shape as LEGOs. Did LEGO make clay prototypes of some sort? Any help is appreciated. (24 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
