(...) If the pieces are slightly warped, then it is Cellulose Acetate. Dave I assume this LEGO is from the USA. If so then it is circa 1961-67. Hi Guido, The problem with 99.9% of all old bricks not fitting together well anymore is due to one simple answer. And that has absolutely nothing to do with storage or heat (unless you're talking about a fire or oven temperature). It is because the (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

Greetings- Does anyone out there know how to clean legos? I haven't taken my legos out for a while and I fear that they have become dusty. If someone could give me some info I'd really appreciate it. According to my out of date peeron.com inventory, I have over 100 sets (40,000 parts), probably almost half of which are MIB. My sets tend toward the more detailed, larger technic sets. In the 1000steine.de this is called the "Kürbis-Effekt" (= pumpkin-effect), since the Halloween pumpkin has been the fist Lego set, which was delivered in really bad (...)   Bulk Bricks - Are we ever going to get a wider choice?
 
Were coming up to the 1st anniversary of the on-line shop and the availability of bulk bricks. So why a year later has the range of bricks on offer barely changed?
