Re: Goodness of Man? (was: Re: Merry Christmas from the Libertarian Party

(...) That, dear Larry, is what one would call "sarcasm". To restate more clearly: Pure libertarians (or so I've been led to believe)(which you obviously don't come under by this definition) want to do without government altogether. I've talked with (...)   Re: Dear LEGO Company,

(...) An interesting concept, although I'm not sure I quite follow it. Currently, you can purchase other people's designs for the normal price. Even if you couldn't directly through the website, you could sell downloads of your LDD files, and have (...) (18 years ago, 5-Jul-06, to lugnet.lego)

Vintage LEGO sets being sold on eBay by LEGO

I didn't see any other postings about this, so hopefully this isn't old news. I got an email from Shop At Home today with a pretty wild link in it: (URL) The have "opened the LEGO vaults" and put some vintage 70s sets on eBay. Pretty cool. :) All (...)   Re: How much weight can a LEGO chassis carry around?

(...) Yes, that's not a bad idea -- nor is the synchro platform, except that that seems a bit complex (and expensive) for me. If I wanted complex and expensive, I'd be building the chassis out of Lexan or aluminum instead of LEGO. :) The trouble (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Weekend Reports 08/22/03

Galactic Greetings! The galactic movement reports have been sent for the week. All should be well. Sorry, but my SM emails and me-as-player emails are being delayed for a bit.   RoboCam & Careful aim...

A video tidbit I've had rattling around since House of Bricks. The first part is NXT combat, with three remote controled robots (that's six NXT sets altogether). The camera is mounted on a robot driven by John Brost, with my robot being the (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jun-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Dear LEGO Company,

(...) Lego has numerous ways out of getting out of their mess, so to speak. #1) One feature I would like to see is allowing people to "sell" their works through Lego Designer, for, say, 5% or 10% of the selling price. This would allow a community to (...) (18 years ago, 1-Jul-06, to lugnet.lego)

hey Dave: Ok, here is my take on this.
