  Re: mindstorms NXT

If this new sensor interface indeed is digital and indeed has an "open" protocol, there will soon enough be some eletronics engineer designing an interface or a multiplexer for the old sensors... Lego won't be the one providing that interface, I (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi Paul, (...) From what I can see this "pink" is not from the Belville or Paradisa line (and I own a lot of these). Instead, my guess is that it's one of the 'unpink' light red Scala colours that were released in 1997 and 1998 which were then (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.year.2001)

Yep, I agree. I actually don't but technic anymore just for the reason that these beam pieces are not LEGO enough. The main pieces they use are the L-shaped studless beam mentioned above. They also use way too many rods and those giant molded (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

From the press release it looks like this new NXT is going to outclass the RCX, but that doesn't mean I won't play with the "old" stuff a whole lot as well - I've not come near the limits of it as yet (I'm fine tuning my 3T robot as I (...)
