  Re: Track color

(...) Hi Dean! Are you sure about this (world city track boxes containing blay track?!) or have you just checked the old ones, which were filled with system grey? I never have heared about any blay track outside the potter trains - till today. And (...) (19 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.color)

my thoughts on the 2006 line so far

This is based on what Brickset lists under "2006" Lego really needs to make less moulds and in particular, less new moulds. They keep making new moulds for sets instead of re-using their old ones. Some lines are worse for this than others. Here is (...) (19 years ago, 11-Feb-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) This has been my experience as well in NYC/NJ area stores. Some of which were out of straight track after Xmas and have since been re-stocked. Re-stocked with old gray. Jonathan (19 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.color)

(...) I think James has hit a key point here. Things that we did as kids stick with us, and are viewed "through rose-tinted glasses". That's likely unavoidable - most of us had lots of fun as kids, and spent lots of time playing. One of the (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Danish cartoons outrage some Moslem groups and nations

(...) Right (see, I told you:-) I was trying to find the actual column in which she says this but it was too old for my cursory search (pun intended--ALWAYS!). But from your link, she flat-out states, "That's just a joke, for you in the media." You (...) (19 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Well, if you accept the premise that the baby in utero (thanks for the clarification above) is a person, then certainly the State has the obligation to protect that person's rights (namely, to live).
