  Lego Building Techniques

I have had the internet for quite sometime now, but it was about four months ago that I realized that the online Lego community was massive in both size and Lego techniques. Since I first came on the online Lego scene I have been doing what every (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Finds at Orlando PaB

(...) That would be very interesting. I saw some turnover in the four days I was there. I suspect they would sell even better if they (the store) would link certain part together somehow. They had two kinds of wheels (larger ones that mount to (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

Hi, Bruce. Nice to have your comments again. (...) There's nothing in the works at this point. From what I've been able to gather, the first book (Stories from Genesis) sold very well, and initial sales of the Christmas book looked really good, but (...)   Re: Railcar slash Woodlouse

(...) Thanks. I try to keep my CAD designs at least theoretically buildable. So I might well build some of them in real bricks someday. But my old Lego collection is at present in the attic at my parents' house, and will stay there until I get a (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

In lugnet.trains, Bryan Kinkel wrote: Dear Bryan, thanks for your nice feedback on my own creations. I think I told the story - about the end of me being a collector - a few times, but I am not sure if I did so here at Lugnet. So here it is in its (...)   Re: Differences between instructions and cover photo of old trainsets

Ben, Are you no longer collecting all LEGO trains? Or just "classic" LEGO trains? Are you planning on purchasing the new radio control systems? Or have ended your purchase of LEGO train products? I see that you continue to update your BrickShelf (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)

Differences between instructions and cover photo of old trainsets

Last weekend I bought a second hand 721 locomotive set with instructions. While rebuilding this set I noticed some differences between the instruction drawings and the photograph on the cover of the instructions. I know about the prototype trainbase (...)   Re: Escher's "Relativity" - a study in SNOT

(...) Wow. I would have to say that this is the best yet in your remarkable series. No "tricks" or photo editing, just plain old bricks interacting with light. So for your next Escher reproduction, how about doing the LUGNET logo? - Chris. (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Window size in train engine

However, it does look like there's a green train windscreen on the crane truck you could invert. For windows (...) (19 years ago, 8-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.arch)
