(...) If you look closely at your photo, especially the corner slope, you'll see that the surface is mottled, not smooth like bricks. Why have textured slopes been arbitrarily abandoned? The last few retail purchases of Lego sets that I made disappointed me greatly in that the pieces I'd most desired, 2x2 medium-slope corners and 2x2x3 extreme-slope bricks, both in dark red, were (...) (...) I think you'll find that there has always been variation in the depth of the texture on slope bricks, it's just that the variation is now greater. Being broke, I've decided to do a little CAD work. So I've designed some passenger cars to go a long with my streamlined steam locomotive I built some months ago. Hello Train Experts Just recently I bought some 70s bulk material containing homemaker figures, steered trucks and the like as well as some 4.5V and early 12V train stuff.
