Oh no, not that old Mac vs PC again!

(...) I have never said or even thought of Apple appearing to be dead. But my experience of Mac users is that they have had a very condescending attitude towards us Windows losers... I mean users. As you and I haven't discused this utterly boring (...) (18 years ago, 1-Apr-07, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)

Re: how does a line ends?

(...) Yes, sorry that my post sounded overly defensive. I have something of a chip on my shoulder from years of working alongside programmers who want to take shortcuts at the expense of their users. Very few seem to appreciate that it is worth a (...) (18 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Save the 10183 trains!

(...) Unfortunately, that won't work for me. My computer (typing on it now) is running 64 bit Ubuntu Linux. I've managed to get MLCad and TrackDesigner running under 32 bit Wine (Windows emulator), since 64 bit Linux is happy to run 32 bit programs. (...)   Re: Combining RC-Train and Blue Rails

(...) SNIPED (...) It looks like 2 pair of jumper plates on the RC track and a pair of 1x2 plates on the old track would be even more rigid. Mat Clayson (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Speculation as to a Classic Space *legends* release?

I think I'd just be happy with certain items as opposed to sets. I think Lego SAHS would make a killing on the old landing plates and minifig sets (Classic or Futuron). Also, any service pack including printed bricks with the Classic Space logo (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

Logging from NXT to PC via Bluetooth

I have been working for some time on an advanced NBC application that sends/logs data over Bluetooth from the NXT to a PC. The header for the file explains, in detail, how it works, so I'll just paste it here. It is compiled with a pre-released (...) (18 years ago, 6-Apr-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

When I looked at the pictures of the real engine, I did get the same impression as Tim that the 'back boiler shroud' could be rounder (but I know its always hard to (...) Hey Brendan, I've been meaning to go back and comment on the David/Saul stories before doing this, but am afraid I'll just get further and further behind.
