The biggest problem in running a train would be hiding the NXT - I saw only one good solution to hiding the RCX in a boxcar, and the NXT is bigger, as are the motors. Well since I already own hundreds of technic sets, most of them vehicles, I would like to something else than *vehicles*. The old control center sets brought us a pen plotter and robotic T-Rex... (...) Last night, I updated the rendering script to use L3Lab's "Front-Upper-Right" view for most parts (Baseplates use a top-down view, panels use "Back-Upper-Left"). I'd like to announce the Castle contest for Brickworld this year. Fling Things! There are two basic machines of war that can be used to fling the brick missiles: catapults and trebuchets. I was at my local TRU (Charlotte NC) this morning and spotted a new Bob the Builder set: Set 3274 'Bob and Muck Repair the Barn' (36 pcs). (...) Funny how we as AFOLs have a hard time thinking "outside the box". We automatically assume that new track geometry necessarily requires large sectional track pieces.
