  They're here!

Bushes (10112), Foliferous Trees (10111), Cypress Trees (10113), Jumper Bricks (10115) and more are now available from S@H (for Dutch folks anyway, haven't checked other countries). (sorry if this is old news to some of you!) regards, Wessel (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.nl)

  Trade wants

Hi, all. Here's my parts want list. I prefer to trade, but can also pay a reasonable amount for spares. I also have plenty of other spares myself and am quite willing to look through them for your need! Alan NOTE: Common parts should be in excellent (...) Cutting and pasting from a several month old thread on the subject of bulk foliage offerings (I quote myself): ~~~...~~~ ...the following foliage elements should be readily available in bulk/accessory packs: 1) cypress (...)   Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

(...) My impression was exactly the opposite. SW line (ESPECIALLY the 1999 sets) were amazingly done. There was little if any juniorization, and the sets were *much* more accurate than I would have expected. Granted it's since gone downhill a (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Hey Old guys

(...) Hey,Oz, Nice to finally have someone my age here! I can't speak for the other guys, but it sounds like you are inspired. No, I can't build a Sniper Custom, at least not yet, cause I have all my pieces in other stuff. It looks real cool, so (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) But as I pointed out in my reply... there were more than one type of "old metal-axle wheelsets" if you go far enough back. I'm not trying to be a pain, honestly... just to get some clarification. If, in fact, it's the 2x2 bricks with the small (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

  Cleaning Bricks

Sure this subject has been broached before, but how is the best way to clean your bricks. I've heard the warm soapy water and a toothbrush, but is the dishwasher ok? Matt (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) You're going to have to help me with this one. How does this make economic sense? Wouldn't it be better to focus on the pieces you have, the ones that are already useful and for which molds have already been created? I mean, Megablocks has a (...) My three-year-old son recently started showing interest to assembling Duplo bricks. He likes to assemble models depicted on the Lego box. Where can I find a collection of simple Lego models that I can build with my son? Thank you, Michael (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: End of Year Thoughts

A general response to all that has been said in this thread. Didn't Lego Group have a terrible year in 1999 as well? It seems to me the business decisions made in 1998 lead to the terrible year in 1999. Now 2000 is bad! That would mean 1999 (...) (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)
