Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

Jake, I think it would be easiest on the company, you, and AFOLs if a Tub List were made up. Then produce that tub in Old Grey/DkGrey/Brown AND in New. Make the external tub color Old Grey for the old colors, and maybe black or New Brown for the New (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Server upgraded and hopefully fixed! (Was: Top secret project - we need your help)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I have upgraded the memory in the webserver that is running the Bulk Bricks survey. HOPEFULLY this will stop the issues that some users have been having with their carts getting blown out. In addition (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

  Re: Jake did good?

Hello Ben, I don't want to interfere between you and Jake. This post is only about some of the things you said about Lego and LEGO. It's not about any other considerations. First i would like to express my solidarity to you. I fully understand you (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.color)

(...) I'll add my Amen to everything Frank mentioned, about both the old colours, and the new ones. I have a somewhat stronger desire to see castle walls, etc. be available in the old colours, but it's not nearly as critical as having a good (...)   Canada's Largest LEGO Sets

OK, I'm not referring to the mega-sets of the last dozen years, such as the Taj Mahal or the Death Star... but to 20th Century Sets. These sets are so rare, that they are likely unknown to all Canadian (and American) LEGO collectors. The sets are (...) (12 years ago, 30-Nov-12, to lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) - SNIP - (...) Yes.. BURPS is a good suggestion. Most of us have enough old grey Lego to connect these together to make decent size hills. I think the same is true for the castle walls from another post (Anthony's I believe). To suggest that (...) (20 years ago, 5-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

5 Years of 'OBB' Classic Space Layouts

It was such a long, long time ago (in a galaxy... yada yada yoda...) that we began our quest for a Classic Space Layout at our OBB shows (and 5 years seems to be the time-frame to do a retrospective--italic text comes to mind) We had a few (...) (...) Well, glad to see i'm not alone (for a change...). I agree 100% with you both (and with Ted Michon as well). This color change might be not reversible (1). So will not be my feelings about TLC.
