  Re: Small MOC :)

Wow cool! I love what you've done there Tamy. The trees look great and very natural. I like the little stream too, with the round stepping stones in the middle, very creative! I can see that there might be a secret entrance into the big rock wall, (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I personnally think that that would be a great idea. After seeing your preliminary work and some of the Brickshelf shots, I'd love to see what you have expanded on. Rich -- Have Fun! C-Ya!   Re: tinkering with docks

(...) I like these ideas very much. So you're saying, this concept clamps around a hole in the wall or ceiling, not requiring it to be fastened by studs on the wall or ceiling? ~Trev (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: My Opinion on Guarded Inn Rerelease...

I'm 17 myself, essentially on the edge of being a young lego enthusiast and an adult one. I've seen some of the older castle sets as really wonderful, the section of wall and piece of town all in one. The Guarded Inn looked to me as the pinnacle of (...) (...) I have had the sword that has the Eagle on one side and the Bull symbol on the other side since last summer. Saw the shield then too, no one has mentioned the crown/helm I've seen at the MN LIC either. They also have a sheath and a (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  More medieval village

Just to get people's interest up for the benefit event, and to show some things I've been talking about, I've posted a few pics of my newest medieval stuff to Brickshelf. Quality is terrible because I used the only camera available to me, the Lego (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: New Civil Engineer letter

(...) I think it's probably been written by someone who missed out on the whole Technic line by being quite old and narrow-minded. Since when did Meccano have a helicopter swashplate on their parts inventory? And can you build epicyclic gearboxes (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.mediawatch)

  Legoland/Mindstorms

First, I just want to say that my 5 and 9 year olds had a great time in 2 days at Legoland. The age span was just right - my 5 year old preferred it to Disneyland. Miniland was "way cool." The Clubhouse was fun - though you need to restock more (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  What is correct to Scale?

I hear alot of Lugnetters complain about the lack of scale in LEGO's System sets. Is there a System set that is to scale, or at least close to scale?
