New Medieval Village Mocs and a Centaur Army

Hi All, I am slowly adding to my Village. Right now this is not a completed village and the houses are still mostly just shells, but as I get time I will be adding details and figs and putting the lot together into a village. Initially planned for a (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Wall Sections for Walled City - was Re: BrickFest 2002 Castle Room

(...) We'll stick to a rectangular shape, unless the town layout starts expanding in odd ways. Anything else would get too difficult to coordinate, IMO. Also, I'd like to focus more on the town itself that the walls, which is one reason I think (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The beginning of the end of NATO?

(...) It's the inconsistent foreign policy that I really want to see the end of. I was being a little 'over the top' to make the point, but it's like, "Hey Joe Schmoo, until you get your act together, don't bother coming out!" So yes, I was a little (...)   Re: The Ubiquitous Half Stud Width Offset (and how to use it)

(...) An interesting treatise. One area that I'm surprised to see missing is the use of the cylinders in the bottoms of bricks and plates for inserting studs into. For example you can center a 1x2 brick under a 2x3 brick. Also, the second trick (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) For the sake of completeness, it's worth to mention this technique not only works for any length, but also for any width of plate/brick. (...) Ah, I get it now. Very subtle. By the way, I can now do 1/10 stud offsets! It's a bit small to look any good, but it's possible. You use a 2x1 plate with centre stud. That sets you 1/2 a stud, or 5/10, back from the normal row of studs. Then (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)
