Feared misconception about the Star Wars sets.

I fear that TLC may attribute the strong sales of the Star Wars sets to Star Wars fanaticism rather than good set design. I realize that putting the "Star Wars" name on anything is going to increase sales and in fact it is what got me back into LEGO (...)   Re: Sorting

Since my older son received his first LEGO set at age 3, we have been keeping the parts in plastic storage bins made by Emplast. We are up to 18 large drawer bins and 9 small drawer bins. The large ones have 18 drawers and the small ones have 60 (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Steve, I'm thinking it would be of more use to name the parts using a "Rise/Run" method, like in architecture. When using the LEGO pieces the important thing is not the actual angle on the sloped face, anymore than it is the actual height, (...) (23 years ago, 14-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
