Most "wall wart" transformers give about 3-5 volts above what is marked on them. I would not use one of these directly. However, I am currently working on using a 7809 voltage regulator. I just recently hooked up a $8.00 6v mini-vac to the motor output, and I'm mounting a touch sensor near the vacuum brush to detect the wall/baseboard. I had a front touch bumper, but it (...) It's simple and sweet, but as others pointed out it would be desireable to not have to worry about the "sex" of the rings. What if you replaced two of the corner "sockets" on the female wall port with "pins" from the male wall port. Make sure that (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.space)
