Re: Is this mad? - 1986 Lego 6067 GUARDED INN - Town Wall TAVERN $200+ ?

(...) hard to find - often that little grapes & glasses sign will bump the price as much as $50. (going from memory - complete with sign seems to average higher than without it) I would pay $200 to have another(1) one of these, if I didn't have so (...)   Re: Analog port shaft encoder

Rob, Another suggestion for debuging your setup would be to write a program which; 1, anually counts the pulses from the encoder, and writes them to the lcd screen; or 2, Just writes the state of the encoder input to the screen (a 1 or 0). Then you (...) (25 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) Castle interlocking sections? Do you mean the 5x1x5 castle wall piece with a window in the center? What sets do these get used in of the Ninja sets? Offhand, I can only think of the log wall sections... or maybe you mean another piece? DaveE (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  how robust is Lego ?

All, I would like to build a robot able to play with a poll ball. The idea is to build an arm on the robot to grip the ball and carry it. The problem is the dimension of the ball : 14 cm and 300 grammes. Are the Lego enough robust to do such tasks? (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.robotics)
