  Moving Straight

Is there anyone who has written or seen IC code that will keep a robot moving straight with 2 DC motors and four side sensors? 2 on each side. The main reason I ask is because one of my DC motors seems to put out more power that the other one and (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Math/Optics Problem

It's amazing how much physics and math I have forgotten, so let me simply note that the focus of the camera isn't going to change the proportions of the objects. The focal length will. The perspective will change as your lens measurement changes (in (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  piece ID

Hi- The pieces that I'm unfamiliar with came from a garage sale. They are 4x3 solid sheets in black. There is also one in transparent green. They are not plates nor tiles... but they look like some kind of door or wall... they have a nub in the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Idea: Wall-breaker

I am thinking aobut a tank, with a touch and light sensor at the front, and when it hits something, a wall for example, the light sensor will analyze the colour of the wall. If it is the same colour as my wall at home, it will turn arund. If ain´t (...) (25 years ago, 6-Sep-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Rcx and Solar Power

I've heard of people using a k'nex solar panel to power the RCX, not sure what elese. The voltage is the same as it would be for an adapter you plug into the wall, 9-12 volts, AC or DC, and any amperage. Lego designed the RCX to be kid proof! (...) (...)
