| | Re: GBC at BrickFest 2006
|
| (...) There are actually three ways to approach this: 1) Using something reflective on the far side of the ball chute - have the sensors light bounce back into the sensor - so the reading decreases when something gets in the way of the reflected (...) (18 years ago, 6-Sep-06, to lugnet.robotics)

| | APC, and IFV and an artillery vehicle
|
| Hello all, After being debuted at BrickFest as part of a battlefielf diorama, I have pix posted of three new armored vehicles. The Wild Boar Armored Personnel Carrier was my attempt at a wheeled APC. To avoid making it look too generic, and to give (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

The lushness reminds me of a recent trip to the Bronx Zoo where there are jungle type areas you can walk in. I (...) (18 years ago, 24-Aug-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

It's noticeably true when talking about SNOT parts. I'm (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.schleim)

| (...) Tim, even at 6' that proportional waist size would make John Candy look like an Olsen twin. But you're right, there's no reason to even pretend you can truly build in minifig 'scale.' (As to the comment you made about two 200 pound people (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

| Hello Robert, It's a nice model, with a good level of detail for the scale you've chosen. I would consider to make the bench besides the back door six studs long, and model its shape with brown grill tiles, in order to mimic the very narrow beams (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

| (...) Thanks! (...) I'm somewhat satisfied with how the Oval Office turned out. It's recognizeable, which is the main thing. The real one has white-paned windows, not red, but as someone once said, "You go to build with the army of bricks you have, (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

They hadn't yet opened for the season, but luckily my job brought me back to the area a week later, and I was able to take a sprinting tour on my lunch break. (...) At our last meeting our mini-challenge was candy manipulating robots, and we decided to continue with the idea of manipulating objects, though this time it will be 4x4x4 LEGO cubes.
