As some of you know I've been working on a Lego Mindstorms book for Java programmers. The official release date is March 15, 2002 so it seems like a good time to announce it. LEGO Creator is not perfect. It is a whole lot slower 'loading' than LDRAW. (Extremely slower. I have a P233 and the techie had a P2 300 and he was complaining about how slow it was.) However, once it loads it's speed seems unaffected by the number (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-98, to lugnet.cad)

When I was a little kid I got a kit for adding electric lights to my creations. It consisted of two little yellow 2x2 bricks with a 4.5VDC light bulb shining out the front, and the old 4.5V type of electrical connector on the back. I got tired of (...) Beautiful! I have also been thinking along similar lines recently, and you have captured much of what was on my mind.
