After some investigating and the opportunity to build two MIB Lego sets from 1986, I have concluded that this was the year that Lego elements began to appear with their official part number. where is this direction of LEGO going with GALIDOR, Bellville, Jack stone and any other line that makes a non-lego set. these have to be the most hated themes for LEGO believers. add a lego brick with some dolls and actionfigures to make these sets (...) Well, last night I managed to pick up 6091 (the castle), 6096 (bull's attack), 6094 (Guarded Treasury), 4086 (axe cart), and 6026 (King Leo). There is a dark side to TLG going to 8 wide. Here goes.... Current 6 wide trains are $130-150. So, if 8 wide is 33 percent bigger (2/6) will the sets be 33% more exspensive.
