(...) The brass polisher Brasso is a mild abrasive, and will remove scratches with enough rubbing. It also removes printing. :) Jeff (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.general)

  RCX Nameplate Tiles

Stupid project time! While at ECRG Rob mentioned it would be useful to have two tiles that said M and S for Master and Slave so one wouldn't get confused. I have used Brasso in the past. It worked quite well on the large trans-green UFO saucer sections in the Arachnoid Star Base. The thing is, Richard is right. Brasso has its limitations. If TLG implemented better design in their decoration, we (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Wow, wow, wow! I really like this one. The details in the cockpits are really nice- it really gives the impression that these 2 people are manning a big hunk of steel through outer space. The engines are nice, too- the flare effect is reall nice. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) On trans-elements, use of Brasso leaves the element slightly cloudy. On those printed 2x2 slopes, printing gets into the crevice running along the sides of the element and is not at all easy to get off even using Brasso. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
