Evening all,

Its nice to have an all Lego MOC for a change :-)

http://www.ozbricks.com/portblock/yar/016.htm

I have always loved the Babylon 5 Starfury starfighters.  I am not
suggesting that these little babies are in any way authentic - they're more
'inspired by'.

Hey, I really like these.  Very nice!  Which JS set did you use for the
canopies?  Do the canopies have printing on them?

I used the yellow tow trucky thingie with the grey dude
(http://guide.lugnet.com/set/4603).  The canopy has the word ResQ printed at
one end.  I could brasso it off, but in the Port Block Yards context, ResQ
works :-)

I really like the detail using the LoM doorway (Didn't know where to use
mine) and the fact that you use a jack stone container door as the hatch to
the vehicle.  Over all, very good.

One of the bonuses in the Republic Gunship is two of these hatches in trans
grey to match the canopy.  In the JS set, the hatch was yellow.

BTW...love the combination of megablock and lego on the Port site!  Gotta
love all that cheap grey, eh?  Inexpensive is good.  ;D

Big time.  Building big stuff is a new dimension I'm still exploring.
Brings its own problems though.  MB is way more heavily based around 2x4
bricks.  I discovered that it has a structural limit.  When I say
discovered, I mean it came hunting me.  There was a period of two weeks
there where work on Sirius stopped because the engineers were having
difficulty getting the drive sections to stop dropping off and taking away
most of the stern.

I find the Sirius to be very 'Nostromo' in nature.  Nice.

Thanks.  The target for Sirius was a ship that works for a living.  Nostromo
is a good example of the target type :-)

Still baldly going...
