  Re: Lego color reference

Hi, There was a discussion a while back regarding accurate colors with the LEGO CAD utilities. The default colors that they come with aren't quite right. Someone had an include file that provided the "true" RGB colors of LEGO bricks. I don't know (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Meeting - April 28th - Southern California - Final Notice!

Hi Guys, It looks like we are going to have an even BIGGER gathering than last time! We have almost 30 people confirmed and a few more possibilities. To deal with the crowds, I'm going to be making the following changes: - Not too many people used (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.people)

  Re: bulk ordering is here!

This is great news! I have already contributed yet more money into the LEGO coffers thanks to this service. It ends up being a great deal for adult builders since we can now build large structures much more cheaply! Anyhow, I was curious as to why (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: ZB 20% off ONE clearance item - may not BE only one!

Tom, you HOG! :) Thats probably why my local store (Mission Viejo CA) sold out of those sets last week. I had that set on my birthday list for my parents, so I couldn't just snap it up. Oh well, I gave them plenty of other choices. Anyhow, I must (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Frequency of LEGO sales?

I recall there being tons of sales last year as well - AND - at that time, I wasn't using LUGNET to find deals on the net. I was just driving around and I found plenty of deals. With the net available, there are tons of deals to be had! I think that (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Emerald Chapel

Thanks for the compliments. I actually had a bit of a hard time with this one. I started out trying to build a big cathedral, but realized I didn't have the bricks, so then I downsized, and downsized again. Then, I thought it would look cool right (...)   Grace Bros / Myer sale

Grace Bros is the same as Myer, correct ? I went to the George st Grace Bros on Monday and they still had Silver Champions for $295 (8 of them). Are these supposed to be $195 for the sale, or am I mistaken ? Also, do Grace Bros chains transfer stock (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Hi Folks, (I'm posting this to lugnet.org.us.lugola and lugnet.people as well as sending it out to a list of interested parties by email) The local LEGO Users Group, LUGOLA (which has expanded to include LA and San Diego) has proposed having a (...)   InFusion - Aquazone Dance Club MOC

This is my Aquazone Dance Club. It is my lastest "real" LEGO building. I was originally shooting for a Baroque styled facade, but it went high-tech pretty quickly. It is 2 feet wide and 2 and 1/2 feet high. (URL) server is a bit flaky. If the page (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: Cleaning discolored white bricks

Nope: I would use the drying technique LAST to polish the brick up. You have to scrub it first. I haven't attempted to do the tops (just the sides which are easier and typically the only part that shows - unless you are using a plate). Then, when (...)   Belville top for my Natural History Museum

The original top to my natural history museum looked cool, but it was a bit too modern looking for the rest of the building. I redid it in a semi-victorian theme with a lot of Belville parts.   Re: New Model, MOC Fabuland Train

That's pretty neat. It has a very quirky appearance to it. It reminds me if Disney's Toon Town. What are you using as a motor? It looks like an old 4.5v motor (the large black kind with a chassis).
