Amy & All, (...) No, no, Larry would never waste time working on something he could buy. He was obviously working on his plans to take over the moon and make a Libertarian colony out of it. Oops, sorry Larry! ; ) Scott Sanburn -- (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

I’ve been thinking of this one all weekend. Here’s what I’ve got so far (untested of course). Background: There's something wrong in Pleasantville Junction.   Re: Moonbase at December meeting

I was looking forward to Brick Wars, myself. Sadly, I won't be able to make the December meeting. They actually scheduled our annual church meeting for the same day. I can't believe they didn't check the IndyLUG schedule! ;) As for agenda, the floor (...) (21 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

New MOC: Residential Block in the City of Brickmond

Greetings fellow LEGO fans and freaks. It’s been a really LONG time (seemingly) since I posted about any new creations from me. In fact, I thought about calling the subject of this post “Holey Moley – I Actually Built Something!” My LEGO collection (...)   My Chosen Hobby

This may come as a surprise to many people, but one of my hobbies is creating things with LEGO bricks. Shocked? I know that my parents still are, and this after 30+ years of me playing with the 'Automatic Binding Brick'. It's my chosen hobby--a (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general) !

Re: COLTC display at "Our lady of the Snows"

(...) Thanks Jack. Boy, do I feel stupid now. We should have posted for AFOL's in the area to help set it up. We thought we could do it fast, but we spend 12 hours straight setting up, and building, with three people! We had tons of idea's, but no (...)   Re: Medieval Peasant's Church

Yaron, Very nice church. I like the details in the windows especially. Also the goblet, the books (hymn books or bibles?), the statue, the shields are all nice details. The clapper on the bell is a good idea - I'll have to borrow that sometime. Does (...) (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: why do people hate builders

I'd pretty much second everything said above. A couple of additional comments: I'm a Ph.D. organic chemist in part due to LEGO. Chemists tend to build lots of models of molecules using special building sets. For instance, see here: (URL) the nobel (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)
