Re: LDraw.org 2011-01 Parts Update Now Available

(...) I'm afraid we are prioritising new users over those from the 1980s. What with it being 2011 and all it seemed the right time ;) Tim (14 years ago, 6-Aug-11, to lugnet.cad)

Why does LEGO call the 33 degree slope a "25 degree" slope?

This piece : (URL) called a 25 degree slope, but everyone else calls it a 33 degree slope. Why the discrepancy? Is it really 33 or 25 degrees? And if it's 33 degrees, why doesn't LEGO update the product name? If it's really 25 degrees, why doesn't (...) (18 years ago, 5-Aug-07, to lugnet.parts)

I found a few Lego sets marked down at my local Walmart (Hanover, ON) yesterday. All the Atlantis sets were marked down. Small discounts on the small sets, but the $39.95 sets were priced at $20!. They also had some of the $24.95 town sets (...) (14 years ago, 23-Aug-11, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: The proliferation of fests: Good or bad?

(...) Oooo...oooh. Well that makes sense I guess. I rather like this topic as it has been on my mind as well. The question I have is whether or not some fests have become too much expo and not enough convention. By this I mean, are we putting on (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.events, FTX)

I ran across this on Slashdot this morning and loved the idea. It gets me wondering whether Lego will offer any special promotional packages with these same figures? They would be great collectables. :) Matthew Hein (14 years ago, 4-Aug-11, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)
