Zach's third LEGO auction (update 25)

If you have finished bidding, as most of you have, you are free to contact me to arrange for payment and shipping. Many of you have already done so. The rest of you can choose to do the same, or wait for me to contact you at the end of the auction. (...) (25 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

Thank you for your response -- we appreciate it. (...) I can agree with and respect your other points, especially regarding the retailer's catalog. That makes sense. However, this one doesn't. There is no legal precedent for this, but this sort of (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

Please allow me to provide some further clarification. I agree that perhaps our position regarding the viewing of images on LEGO.com was somewhat hard- line and legalistic. It was not intended to be so. (I'll take the heat here, as it was my (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.announce, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.publish)

Re: Stallman mentions Lego in newspaper article

Followups to off-topic.debate, because... suffice it to say, I do not agree, sir. :-) Stallman may be a bit flakey as a person, but I think the general theme that one can create "free" software and make a healthy living from it is extremely valid. Whoa, whoa... (...) This, above, has almost NOTHING to do with interest. It so happens that I agree with some (most? almost all?) of your points(1).   Zach's third LEGO auction (final update)

This the final standing. Thanks to everyone who participated. Welcome to my third RTL auction. It has been about 18 months since my last auction, time for another one to clear some of my closet space and consolidate my core LEGO collection. Most of (...) I have to side with Larry (and Mike, too I guess). I am sure companies use these limits (one per person/per household) to maximize the effectiveness of their special deal.   Re: Enough already

I have to say, I agree with Todd (and Susan, I presume). It seems to me that there are an awful lot of folks who are doing an awful lot of bellyacheing, and this over VERY minor things.
