  Re: The Datalog

(...) Unfortunately, unless you completely re-engineer the standard firmware you probably won't get the power you need. The jump from LegOS to NQC is relatively painless once you get a working LegOS compiler up and running. I was actually able to (...) (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I do have another question, though (Oh, the joys of actually testing on real hardware...) 1) When I load a program, does it (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

Re: Getting diagonal track to line up properly?

(...) John is correct; it's 1-13-3 that works. Blame my faulty memory, it's been a bit since I played in TD. (...) The 2-7-2 is close enough that it connects physically very soundly. The offset is roughly 1 stud. Easy enough to cover with slop, with (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: About datsville

(...) Oh, but it's still very interesting to hear that rendering Datsville is that quick in L3Lab! It sounds to me like future renderings of Datsville will probably be done in L3Lab rather than POV-Ray. By the way, do anybody know if rendering (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Human brain..

Dear friends, Here is a brief response to the human brains discussion, which I have been following with great interest. It is not at all clear, even to the scientific community, that the functions of the human brain are on the same level of my (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Battery Care

Hi, What's the best way to care for the NiCd pack of the Handyboard? I understand that NiCd's undergo the "memory effect". Good post! (...) I agree with most all you say, but I am surprised that you consider this: in-memory compilation of arbitrary code constructed on-the-fly, necessary for a language to be "high level".
