Re: Service pack 5111 - Wires - no longer available

(...) Well, I guess - but the Spybotics firmware wouldn't know how to drive the extra motor - unless it replaced one of the built-in motors which would then be 'dead weight'. I think you'd have to be pretty desperate to want to do that...especially (...) (22 years ago, 2-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Packaging!

Yes, to my amazement, both the Manas and Spybotics were packaged in this manner (in the U.S. at least). I can't fathom what on Earth they were thinking when they came up with this packaging scheme.   Re: Programming multiple controllers

(...) I thought somewhere in the Spybotics software, it mentioned to put the controller in the lock position, press a button (1 thru 5) and point it at the spybot. WHen the spybot beeps, it's 'tuned' to that channel. Do the same for all the others, (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

  Snaptrax tracks

(...) Interesting. I do own a couple Spybotics, although I'm not sure I've ever even put batteries into them, and I think (80% sure) they were in another room at the time.
