| (...) I think that the datalogging area is just a special limited firmware array, but , IIRC, since it mentions nowhere that you have to remember to keep the datalog size into account. | So in the original firmware, the system is shut down if ultra-low battery is detected. If we don't want tot do that, we could change the ">" in the 2nd compare to a "<" to get some hysteresis. | Does anyone know how to poll the RCX (with standard firmware 2.0) to find out whether a program has terminated yet? If you can see the LCD, you can see whether the little man is still moving, but can you check this from a host computer? The (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| Hi, folks. I've tried to connect to my RCX 1.0 (firmware 0328) from my laptop. Since I have only a serial IR tower, it works fine on my desktop PC, but communications won't work when I use a USB/serial converter to connect it to my laptop (there (...) | Thanks to everyone who helped out with my problem, it's much appreciated! The problem was not having the firmware loaded, which I was able to download to the RCX using the latest version of MacNQC. I had an earlier version of MacNQC which wasn't (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
