  Re: Brute Force Brick

(...) I've had a couple people ask me about this. I was lucky enough to get ahold of one of the prototypes. Let me see if I can answer a couple questions. [Q: How is it programmed?] A: The software is set-up much like the RCX. John wrote a compiler (...) (21 years ago, 4-Mar-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  where leJOS firmware ?

Hi everybody. I'm trying to guess where exactly the leJOS firmware is stored. All domcuments i've read say that it's in the 32K RAM.   Re: Spurious bad readings from sensors

(...) In RAM, as specified. RAM will hold onto the data just fine, as long as you supply power to it. And the RCX RAM is powered, via battery (that's why if you remove the batteries, you loose the firmware... and everything else). (21 years ago, 12-Feb-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

(...) NQC compiles not quite C code into LEGO firmware opcodes. You download the .rcx result, and LEGO firmware interprets the program. This makes it slow.
