| Is this OK for getting 6V to motors connected to the L293s? I tapped off the center of the battery back and get about 6V. | Keith, You may have shorted something out while connecting up the battery. I've seen this before, and parts do fry if you connect them to 9.6v. | Hi Jeff (...) I had the same problem. I got some improvement by running the treads in opposite directions. Turns real quick then!
