Re: Built on a Sunday: The Grunnion

I think I've seen this thing before...St. Patricks day circa 1992... I was at my local pub, face down in an expanding pool of my own vomit...and this small, green biomechanical dog came up to me and said...."burn the place down, boy-o!" Mr. Sophie, (...)   Re: Kemuel?

(...) My associate Keith Goldman brought your work to my attention. I really like the unique configuration of this ship, especially the long keel. If I may presume, the bottom of the keel perhaps could use some inverse slopes or 1/2 cylinder bricks (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

New MOC: The Technic fig scale ladder truck "Inferno"

Hi Everyone, After 4 months of on and off work, 6 Bricklink orders and several acts of cannibalism, I am proud to announce my newest creation... Inferno the Technic figure scale ladder truck!   Re: The Fly

I don't know Ley, the thing on the nose looks suspiciously like a death ray. Coming from a Space Hippy like youreslf, this smacks of a military-industrial complex sell-out of some kind. Workin' for the Man now, eh Ley? Although I do like the fact (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Orbital Manipulator Craft

The question remains...can it manipulate itself?...not for pleasure I mean, just for self-maintenance. Soren the OMC is money, if fact you're money baby. Its almost studless, but the remaining studs actually work as a greeble I think. Great (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Parable of the Harsh Master

Great job as usual Brendan, even if it was lacking some of the violence and sexual content that I demand as a viewer. The walls in LK 9:13 and many other scenes were brilliant, as were the inverted basketball nets, and the bandana/epaulette headgear (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

This is a pretty sweet shuttle! i love the compactness of its shape, but most importantly its sleek-ness. it seems lego works really well in industrial looking space ships, but not so much in sleek ones. this creation really walks the fine line (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) If the "new pneumatic designs" are what we saw with 8455 and 8436 with the round bottom cylinder and the new type switch, next we can expect to see would be a new hand pump, but that's about all that can be new.
