  Tire sizes

(...) I second this. (...) While on the subject of tire sizes, I just came across (URL) this> which talks about the 8448. It shows a couple near-final prototypes in which there are 8880 tires (2997) fitted on 8462 rims (32077) and they seems to fit (...) (20 years ago, 8-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MH Zephyr

(...) I did enjoy it...but is it some kind of instructional or managerial mech? I'm assuming that thing in its right hand is a laser pointer of some kind, because it looks far too sissified to be a Robertsian weapon. Perhaps you should have posed (...)   King Arthur Library Display

Submitted for your approval... the legend of King Arthur told lego-mural-style. It was constructed for my local library here in fresno, in conjunction with their "knights of the round table" summer reading program. This is my first public display (...)   Re: PP 1444 X, my P-38 contest entry

Ley this is a great ship. I really like the slide-open cockpit and arch-insets in the wings. Like Paul, I'm not feeling the P-38 vibe on this one, but it is cool nonetheless. The only aspect of the ship I didn't like was the drive-dingus that hangs (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) "It's a bitchin' Camaro." I didn't want this one to get lost in the stew without at least one more comment. I agree with Tony that the tiles on top of the canopy look out of place, and I also agree that the chairs are a great touch. The grille (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Um Vineet, I asked about the piece count as well, and here is the (URL) reply> thanks to Larry. This is 3 weeks ago. Currently the biggest set is ISD at 3104, soon to be Death Star at 3441. But: the biggest Technic set so far (excluding (...) (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) I did enjoy this tale of 2 mocs. The front half of the craft is your classic Robertsian boilerplate...solid but nothing unusual. The back side which sort of resembles a cd-player is money. Like a good episode of Murder She Wrote, or Touched by (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Bots with capes? I'd expect something like that from a tortured 'artiste' like Deering. I think you've been hangin' with pot-bot for too long. Why not a beret, or epaulettes?
