I am thinking of doing a completely studless version of the 8448 set keeping
it the same size. Should I bother or just move onto something else?

Even though I dont own 8448 proper, I would contemplate it.
I built a sorta 8448, now with studded chassis and studless body. I also
eliminated the two remaining studded beams from the 8448 wing doors body. (I
will put pics up, I swear! For now see the instructions on BS for what I am
talking about)
Now I need the studded beams for a future MOC so going studless is a logical
next.
With two sets turned studless (8439
and 8408) I say this is doable.
I say leave this as an exercise to the lesser builders, while Crowkillers the
Great march right on to the next killer custom supercar! ;)
No offense.

My next Custom car is definitly going to be yellow, and I going to spend the
80 bucks to get the wheels chrome plated.

We really CAN get that done?
