Re: Mocs, Smack, and a Pimp: my Brickfest 04' experience

(...) Oh, Keith, you poor misguided soul. Won't you ever learn? Derek doesn't like you. He only wants to be a consort..... As for the questionable commentary, that's one of the things that makes this community so much fun. (20 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) Thanks Keith. It's nice to know that the Eastern-Reich treaty is still strong and firm. With help from the ground power of the Reich, we can carve up all the galaxy. ;) Thanks for the things about the gaps and front. It's what I was aiming (...) Y’know why I like Jeff Blasterman…? …’cause he’s smart and innovative! The problem was self-evident to us all.   Re: What's actually the task of the moderators on BrickShelf?

(...) I'd like to point out a difference between "trivialization" and "satire." Much of what Keith and I do is to satirize and mock the ideologies of our respective subthemes. (However, I should point out I am a socialist/communist, but I am not a (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

  Re: prices

(...) Yikes. I have to check out my local TRU real quick. Other posts said that the lime tuner racer 8649 is also on the shelves... And to answer Vineet, Canadian price for 8421 will be Cdn$199.99. I buy that and 8649, and that's it for me for the (...) (19 years ago, 24-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

Creating WWII-themed guns, minifigs, tanks, dioramas, etc. is okay in my opinion since it is recreating something from the past (it's historical). For (...)
